Well our Geraldton stop didn't go quite as planned! Our plan was to stop for 1 night stocking up on food, do some washing and make a quick trip BCF for some new camping chairs! We quickly got all our jobs done in anticipation of leaving the following day to Jurien Bay.
The next morning Stu woke up and could hardly move his right leg and was in a lot of pain. It was clear then that we weren't going anywhere! We managed to find a physio that was open on Saturdays and went there. The physio said there was no ligament or muscle damage, hmm mystery! The following day he was still in a lot of pain and not really able to walk, so off we went to the Geraldton hospital. This also happened to be our wedding anniversary, what a romantic way to spend the day! The service was quite quick and after an ex-ray and blood test the doctors still couldn't find what was wrong! All they could put it down to was some fluid on the knee! So off Stu went with a script for Panadeine Forte and some crutches!
Although l had towed the caravan a few times, Stu needed to feel confident that he could drive safely.
After a few days the pain had subsided and he was more mobile so we left Geraldton! We ended up staying 4 nights and found Geraldton to be a lovely town. The kids and l frequented the park on the town beach and the local shops so Stu could rest up! We didn't do any touristy things here but experienced the town as a local!

We are now heading straight to Perth and unfortunately not going to Jurien Bay as the days are getting away from us!
